HOME IS SOMEBODY, SOMEWARE, SOMEWHERE

tracing paper, cotton thread, silk organza
(installation in pre-existing structure)

2014

This installation consists of hollow life-sized furniture sewn together out of sheets of tracing paper and exemplifies my continued interest in using skin-like materials as a way to relate the work to the figure, in this case equating the home space with the body’s shell. This room illustrates the precarious nature of feeling un-permanent and vulnerable. (installation in pre-existing structure)
